Dear residents,
Forthcoming activities
The final phase of piling is now scheduled to commence on Monday 29th March 2010 to the lower level area and next to Back Sidlaw Terrace.
These works will take approximately 1 week to complete.
We will then repeat the activities previously undertaken including precast concrete ground beams, drainage and precast concrete floor planks, before completing the erection of the steel frame which will form the new school Sports Hall.
Meanwhile we will continue to progress the roof sheeting, wall cladding and brickwork throughout the project where the steel frames have previously been erected.
Safety First !
Please help us to ensure the community is kept safe during the construction of the new school, and in particular during the school holiday period.
Building sites can be extremely dangerous and are not to be used as playgrounds. We would again ask that you explain this important message to your friends, family and especially children.
Under no circumstances should anybody be accessing the construction site at anytime whether it be day, night or at the weekend.

Kier Northern is committed to raising the standards of building site management and are an Associate Member of the ‘Considerate Constructors Scheme’. This scheme sets out standards and procedures for contractors to follow which includes an independent complaints procedure.
Details of the scheme can be found posted on the site hoardings and fencing.
