The school day begins at 8.45 a.m.

If you arrive after 8.45 you are late to school and if you are at Firtree site you will have missed the school bus!

It is parents’ responsibility to ensure children are at school on time. If your children are based at Firtree and have missed the bus it is your responsibility to take them to Firtree.

The following year groups are based at Old Site:

Nursery – Gold Base

Year 1 – Orange Base

Year 3 – Green Base

Year 6 – Violet base

These year groups are based at the Firtree site:

Reception – Red Base

Year 2 – Yellow Base

Year4 – Blue Base

Year 5 – Indigo Base

If your child is unwell please inform the school by phone on 0113 3368383, the number is the same for both sites. You can also report absence by visiting the Family Support Team office at the Bankside site. We need to know when children are absent. Our Family Support Team work hard to support children and their families to be at school every day.

Please try to arrange doctors / dental appointment out of school hours or during the holidays. We understand that hospital appointments can often be during the school day, if your child has such an appointment please tell us in advance and show the family support team the appointment card.

If your child becomes ill during the school day we will contact you so that you can collect them, if they are based at the Firtree site we will bring them back to Bankside so you can collect them locally.
